Mission: To establish Taos as a premier center of education and training for individuals, business, and organizations.

The Taos Training Alliance (TTA) is a collaboration of training and educational institutions and programs in the Taos region involved in business and personal skill development. Through TTA, offerings of member organizations are widely presented both within the community and to those outside the community who would like to come to Taos to enjoy our unique environment while participating in training seminars, workshops or classes.

Contract Training

Through member organizations of TTA, training is offered in technology, educational, environmental, business, entrepreneurial development, hospitality, personal and professional development, the arts, medical services, youth development, wilderness experiences, and other industry sectors. Curricula will be developed, as required, for courses of instruction and contract training responding to the needs of client companies. Qualified instructors will be provided consistent with the identified training needs.

Taos is also fortunate to have a branch community college of the University of New Mexico, UNM - Taos , in the town. UNM-Taos offers Associate degree and vocational Certificate programs, adult basic education (ABE and GED), workforce training, and courses for personal enrichment.
